12. SPORT AND TERRITORY
The www.sanvitovirtual site, the creative author, the client and the institutions are not responsible in any way for the initiatives of sportsmen and travelers in the area, which has intrinsic dangers linked to its hydrogeological structure and its wild nature.
Athletes are invited to inform themselves independently about the dangers and practicability of the routes. As a useful reference: https://www.sitr.regione.sicilia.it/pai/bac044-045-046.htm.
The sanvitovirtual.com site is created in complete safety with drones, and has a visual landscape purpose. We are not responsible for any accident that may occur in the attendance of inaccessible places by any means.
Athletes who intend to immerse themselves in nature are fully and exclusively responsible for compliance with all safety regulations related to hydrogeological risks, weather conditions, the risk of fires and floods, lightning...etc.
Athletes must understand that such a complex territory involves many assessments, and these are the exclusive responsibility of the user. Certain routes can be safe at certain times of the year and dangerous at other times. Certain places may be prohibited, linked to conditions of geological danger, of private relevance.
The complexity of the places may require a professional level of equipment, preparation and knowledge of the places and the practicability of the sites.
Extraordinary events such as summer fires can endanger travellers, just as the conditions of places can change suddenly: this aspect also concerns the coasts, sea conditions, accessibility.
The approaches to the territory are infinite, just as the conditions of the routes, of the places, undergo transformations with the seasons, according to climatic events and the passage of time.
It is important to underline how the territory must be considered as a living organism, in continuous transformation: the competent authorities can therefore modify prohibitions, impose limits, open or close areas temporarily or definitively: it is therefore essential to inquire about the conditions of the places of interest .
Any sporting activity must therefore be evaluated by the sportsman, who has the exclusive responsibility for his own safety and that of others, and must find out about the conditions of the territory, the accessibility of places, the legislation in force at that moment, according to his own approach.
Any visual content of the site is exclusively oriented towards the suggestion of the places, and in no way constitutes a recommended or indicated use.
This site has an exclusively informative cultural approach. For all regulatory insights, visitors are invited to contact the competent bodies.
